As we wait in anticipation for the upcoming visits to Destin, FL and Jekyll Island, GA (with a meetup in Ray City, GA), both Lindsey and I are in a state of "Let's Get the Hell Out of Missouri!".
Why I'mWriting Typing
In my attempt to relax the anxiety of waiting a week before my feet touch the white sands of the Emerald Coast, I decided to begin documenting these experiences for our future reference. While the kids don't quite yet understand the importance of these vacations, I know that one day the pictures and writings in this blog will bring to light what these trips meant for all of us. I find it incredibly important to raise our children in a setting which promotes both cultural and personal experiences. Our goal is to involve ourselves in as many of these experiences as possible.
Together
I'm very grateful to have a companion and friend in this adventure who understands the importance of experiences, and has the patience to accommodate for it. The life story we are writing together will be full of the kinds of memories which garner a smile and a long stare.
